Dedicated to Josh "Joshy Boshy" Stevens September 19th, 1988 - May 16th, 2016 We dedicate the official online release of this video to our dear friend and musical conspirator, Josh Stevens (aka Joshy Boshy). Josh left us on May 16th, 2016 to join the many other musical greats taken from us this year. His enormously kind heart and musical genius was a huge part of the Wasteland Hop family - we were lucky to share the stage with him one last time a few weeks ago at the Colorado Marathon. Josh was a part of the conception of this song when we were all in Alaska during our Summer 2013 tour, and later he spent the week with us at The Spot Studios in Denver when we recorded the song in the fall of 2014. Thank you, Josh, for sharing your musical talents and love of life with us. We love you with all of our heart, with all of our hearts. Only Us What are we here for to love or to fear or- Well I don't know. But if I'm seeing clear here there ain't no fear here No, no it's only us. What are we here for to love or to fear or- Nobody knows. But if I'm just one string here the harmonies ring clear The sound of only us. Are we these human fated objects looking through our two emaciated optics? Our eyes become thin, when face with the option: that time is infinite or the clock a coffin. A cacophony of atomic property just in a box to breed, fostering a-- dominant ominous bottomless clock ticks ad hominem: a common autonomous talk which asks -- What are we here for to love or to fear or- Well I don't know. But if I'm seeing clear here there ain't no fear here No, no it's only us. What are we here for to love or to fear or- Nobody knows. But if I'm just one string here the harmonies ring clear The sound of only us. We see this matter in the tree and gather reasons why the seams of matter seem to shatter we grieve and understand the need to capture erratic matter in a retreat to seek a greener pasture they flee in patterns leaving caverns of static fleeting atoms that'll vanish as we reach to grab it planet abandonment animate animus slips back adamant animal stamina which asks -- What are we here for to love or to fear or- Well I don't know. But if I'm seeing clear here there ain't no fear here No, no it's only us. What are we here for to love or to fear or- Nobody knows. But if I'm just one string here the harmonies ring clear The sound of only us.
