This is a video recording of some wartime film footage being shown at the Great Central Railway Quorn and Woodhouse station. At this time, very few people had television and relied on newspapers and the radio to keep them up to date on World War 2. This video which would have been shown in cinemas shows how German plans that had been shot down were being turned into metal for the war effort.
