Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world crowd this town built on a lagoon, to enjoy the spectacle or to don a disguise themselves. Like every other year, the carnival’s epicentre is on St. Mark’s Square.

#IWasHere multiple times. I love the city at night and in the early morning hours when there are no tourists. I also took aerial shots a few years ago. I never made it to the Carnival though! Tip: When you travel to Venice, stay away from the main tourist traps for food or water and you will be able to enjoy authentic Venetian food.

#iwashere i was here In January. There wouldn't be a second city like Venice. And it's definitely worth visiting again at the Carnival. How I love all these costumes!

Colored boats, small rivers, I really want to live in such a city.

My god, there are so many people here, it's amazing, and the most important thing is that I don't know this festival.
