The village of Grafton Regis in Northamptonshire has a wonderful heritage and played a significant role in English history because it can lay claim to being the place where the Tudor Dynasty began. The village and its manor house was a favourite of King Henry VIIIth and the village also has connections with William Shakespeare. This 360-degree video has been created as an example of how 360-degree videos, images and sounds combined with storytelling and social media can help to raise awareness of these local cultural assets and attract interest in the village as well as a focal point for community development.
