Paint To Pixel

Paint To Pixel is a virtual exhibition that charts the history of UK graffiti. It features interviews and photo archives that cover 5 decades of graffiti writing, alongside original artwork by some of the UK’s most influential artists. This short VR film covers the birth of UK graffiti, through to the explosion of street art in the public realm. It celebrates graffiti in all of its forms, from the legal murals that brighten our urban landscapes, through to the train artwork that links back to graffiti’s roots on the New York Subways. Paint To Pixel allows often marginalised artists to share their craft with new audiences, and to tell their own story. Because of the nature of their work, many artists have chosen not to be named, but each and every one has made a valuable contribution to this exhibition and the wider street art scene. We thank you.
