Jinnao Mountain stands on the border of Taining and Jianning County, rising about 1858 meters above the sea level. It is the third highest mountain in the southeast of China. The mountain totally consists of 84 peaks and the main peak is Baishiding, an outstanding terrace for viewing sunrise scenes. It also offers a distant view of the Golden Lake, a part of the Taining World Geopark. And on the mountain, there is a challenging plank path built along the face of the cliff. It extends for 1km. And on the top runs a sightseeing train which is the only mountain train in mainland China.
