This is the teaser-trailer for 'Inner Space: A Journey into the deep sea' which will be finished later this year.
'Inner Space' is my MA graduation work in visual communications at Weißensee Art School Berlin.

It consists of an installation build around a short VR-movie, about 9 minutes long, which allows visitors to dive into the deep ocean and observe strange and wonderful animals. Everything you see is handdrawn, 2D-animated and arranged in 3D-space around the viewer. A voice-over gives information while an atmospheric soundscape creates an immersive experience.

@Laurel Tremblay That's not really true... although some of them are unarguably ugly, many species have eyes even though there's not much to see down there. And there's many many beautiful creatures in the deep sea!

@Casimir Zulauf IV Kind of, yeah. In fact deep water is pitch black unless you have strong lights or come across some creatures that produce their own light - which actually the majority of deep sea organisms is able to!
