Horseless Carriage Museum - Once Found, Never Forgotten! A must see when you are in the Kawartha Lakes area.

The Bennett family has decided to share their interests, knowledge and collection, of early transportation from the 1890's to the 1920's, with the public. On display are the 1899 Stanley Steam Car, 1907 Reo Model A Touring, 1905 Cadillac Model F Touring, 1895 Sawyer & Massey Traction Engine built in Hamilton, ON,(the oldest traction engine in Canada) and other amazing vehicles of that era. Also memorabilia, working mechanical music machines, an 1878 Penny Farthing Bicycle and a rare 1870's Victorian baby carriage. To complete the tour browse through their 1890's fashioned General Store. Enjoy some homemade sweet treats, local maple syrup and honey products and shop through the handcrafted leather goods, jewelry, quilting, knitting and hand carved decoys and reproduction wood crafts.
