From a recent trip in the Eastern Sierra . The Bristlecone pine are the oldest living things in the world. Some have been date to be over 5000 years old. They also grow in some of the harshest conditions. The worst the environment the longer they live. Amazing trees and the views of the Eastern Sierras was spectacular!

Human beings should pay attention to protecting the environment, otherwise such forests will become one of the rare things.
