Part One of Three. Bangkok holds many adventures and little-known places. One that hides in plain sight that not many tourists hear of is the Pottery Island, or Koh Kret in Thai. A quick 30 km drive from Bangkok in Nonthaburi. Created when a 4 km shortcut was dug through the existing land mass, Koh Kret became home to a thriving pottery making industry. You can even take a riverboat to get there. It’s a great day trip, and they also have very cheap bike rentals to pedal around the island.
