Gotu village in Isiolo County, Kenya is just one of the many villages in Kenya affected by drought.

The Doctors of the World team is working to visit as many settlements as possible to check the children and pregnant women there for signs of malnutrition and, if necessary, start treatment.

They give all children under investigation vitamin supplements and medicines against body worms. In addition, the team also provides first aid to a population which is often days away from the nearest medical centre.

Here one of our team, Jelle Boone, gives us a 360 view of Gotu village and the people who live there.

Every child's eyes are so sincere, I hope they can be carefree forever.
