Hagia Sophia, built by Eastern Roman emperor Justinian in 6th century AD, has been home to Pagan faiths, Christian Orthodox, and Sunni Islam. Located in Istanbul, Turkey, In the past it housed nails from the crucifix of Christ and the shroud of Mary. Today it is a museum in the Turkish Republic.
