Out on another hike this time along The San Andreas fault. The location: Thousand Palms Oasis Preserve in Coachella Valley.  The fault is the visible boundary between two massive tectonic plates, the North American plate and the Pacific plate.  History: The Shoshone, Serrano, Early Cahuilla, and Later Cahuilla Indian cultures lived here 1000 BCE. Shot with the YI 360.
