Canadair CL-84 Dynavert and other VTOL aircraft at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa, Canada. My first HDR test using a GoPro Hero 4 Black in Protune mode. The image is a composite of 18 photos: 3 photos per angle (light, medium dark exposures) HDR merged to make one photo, and then 6 photos stitched into a 360x180. I tried uploading the PNG version but it took too long to be processed. This is the JPG at the highest detail. In the original, non-HDR image, the detail on the monitors wasn't visible (just blank white) and the interior of the helicopter was partially obscured by darkness. The windows in the distance aren't necessarily blown-out – they are actually covered by light-diffusing screens. The number of shots necessary and the amount of manual capture and processing limits the application of this technique to static environments.
