VeeR Presents at SVVR
Silicon Valley Virtual Reality, SVVR organizes community events for consumer VR developers and startups working on all kinds of virtual reality related products. Both SVVR and the Bay Area 360 VR Filmmakers group have cultivated rich and genuine communities that are passionate about VR. As a leading VR content network dedicated to connecting 360/VR content creators from all around the world, VeeR showcased its platform at both SVVR and the Bay Area VR 360 filmmakers group, and gave away VeeR mini glasses to the attendees. We were deeply honored to have been able to sponsor their last events and we look forward to becoming more involved with the VR community in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Both events had many moments that stand out, and we would love to share them with you here. SVVR is the oldest meet-up and one of the most thriving groups in the world. This past meet-up featured a whole myriad of exciting announcements and upcoming events. SVVR and High Fidelity pulled off one of the coolest things we’ve seen. They created a portal that serves as window between virtual reality and the real world. The results we’re uncanny! Attendees could watch people from all over the world attending a virtual reality room tied to a real life event, which takes the word meta to a whole other level.
Meanwhile at the 360 VR Bay Area Film Makers meet-up we saw talks from Apple and Pixar. While Pixar’s John Halstead’s reflected on the lessons learned from Coco VR. A team from Apple announced a whole new suite of features and VR enhancements for Final Cut Pro. Culminating two exciting nights of going back to the future.
